Improved

  • The Translate to language picker is searchable. Start typing to filter around 100 languages instead of scrolling, and the ones you use most float to the top. Works in Ctrl+K too.

  • Asking a question now gets you an answer instead of a rewrite. "What does this mean?" no longer replaces your selected text.

  • KeyShift tells you what will happen to your text before it happens, and how to undo it after.

  • No prompt limit when you use your own API key.

  • Settings are fully keyboard navigable, and Escape closes a dialog.

Fixed

  • Typed triggers no longer delete text they were not asked to replace.

  • Ctrl+K no longer leaves a stray "k" in your document.

  • An empty result is treated as a failure instead of being pasted over your text.

  • The command palette now replaces text reliably, including in apps it cannot inspect.
