v1.5: your text is safe

New

  • The typed trigger is smarter: it acts on the text above your caret every time, instead of guessing.

  • A diagnostics log and visible errors. When something fails, KeyShift now says so instead of doing nothing.

  • The model dropdown is searchable.

Improved

  • Popups size themselves to your Windows text scale, so nothing crops at larger text sizes.

  • A simpler main screen, and a rebuilt login.

  • Errors that happen in the background now surface outside the main window.

  • A manual update check confirms when you are already up to date.

Fixed

  • Data loss in classic Windows edit controls, including Notepad. This was the big one.

  • Mangled pastes in Notepad++ and other Scintilla editors.

  • Popup geometry on mixed-DPI and multi-monitor setups.

  • The main window opening as a sliver.

  • Signatures and inline images are preserved when the typed trigger grabs a field.

  • Pin and Remove in clipboard history.

  • The capture overlay painting the panel near-black.

  • macOS: Chromium apps are now asked to build their accessibility tree.
